FOR THE PEOPLE WHO BUILD

See the work.
Plan the
resources.

Civil projects move forward when the model, the people, and the equipment work to the same plan.

We’re building an AI-assisted planning workspace that brings them together.

A CLEARER WAY TO PLAN

The drawing is
only part of
the picture.

A project lives across models, schedules, site notes, and conversations. The important connections are often left to the planner.

Carriforward is developing a shared view of the work: what needs to happen, what it needs, and what changes when a constraint moves.

Our starting point is resource planning for small civil engineering and construction teams. A focused workflow, built around the judgement of the people closest to the project.

Try a sample planning decision

A SMALL EXAMPLE. A USEFUL QUESTION.

What changes
when the plan changes?

Choose a work phase, adjust the crew and equipment, and see how a simple capacity constraint changes the estimate.

This prototype uses predefined sample quantities and a simple capacity formula. It demonstrates the planning interaction; it does not run an AI model, import BIM files, or validate an engineering plan.

THE PRODUCT WE’RE BUILDING

From project context
to a considered plan.

Three connected capabilities guide our development. Each starts with information your team can inspect and change.

01 / CONTEXT

Connect the model to the work.

Link activities to elements or zones in a 3D project view, so the schedule has a place and every planned task has context.

02 / CAPACITY

Make resource constraints visible.

Bring together crew requirements, equipment availability, dependencies, and working calendars. See where a plan asks more than the site can provide.

03 / SCENARIOS

Compare before you commit.

Explore alternative sequences and allocations. Review the assumptions, understand the trade-offs, and carry the chosen plan into the next conversation.

AI THAT SUPPORTS THE PLANNER

Less time assembling.
More room for
good judgement.

We plan to use AI to turn project notes into proposed planning inputs, identify missing constraints, and explain scenario differences in plain language.

Calculations stay explicit. Inputs stay editable. Project teams review the assumptions and approve the plan.

WHY CARRIFORWARD

Keep the context.
Carry it forward.

Founded by Vidhi Chopra in November 2025, Carriforward is developing practical planning tools for civil engineering and construction.

We believe a useful plan should connect the design intent with the realities of people, equipment, and the site. Our work begins at that intersection.
